Savannah Birnbaum

Associate, Project Development

Savannah is a New York City native, and attended the Chapin School (with a brief stint on exchange in Perth, Australia). She graduated with a major in Radio, Television, and Film and a minor in French from Northwestern University, where she completed a thesis film for the Senior Directing track. After graduating, she traveled to Penang, Malaysia where she directed video content for an immersive, multimedia theatre production at the George Town Festival. Since then, she has written art historical dossiers for the Mary & Leigh Block Museum of Art and Debra Force Fine Art collections, worked on indie film sets, served Viennese coffee in a very old dining room, and interned at Jigsaw Productions, where she worked on The Clinton Affair. All of these professional adventures have contributed meaningfully to her point of view as she helps steward Beach Walk’s various development projects.
